KOKRAJHAR: Peace was disrupted in western Assam following the death of a minority labourer late on Wednesday night at Sapkhata under Gossaigaon subdivision in Kokrajhar district along the Assam-Bengal border. As the news of the death spread with daybreak, hundreds of minority community members gathered at Gossaigaon Police Station on Thursday morning demanding immediate arrest of the persons involved in the killing. Additional superintendent of police, H K Nath, assured the protestors early arrest of the killers.
